Oink, Oink.

Well, since my last post Gizmo got "all better". Even though he was already recovering, I took him to see Dr. G as soon as she got back from vaca, just so I could run everything by her. Her best guess: H1N1 influenza. Yep, the swine flu. (Of course) Li'l Bit kept talking about shots all the way to our appointment, so Gizmo kept saying, "But I'm already all better!!" Poor guy. He was much relieved to leave the hospital with no new holes in his epidermis.
So, yeah, he was pretty sick. Nothing alarming, but worrisome enough to get us to the doctor's office twice in one week. He truly is recovering now, but it is taking him just as long to get back to 100% as it did for the virus to run its course. He doesn't feel sick anymore, but he's ravenously hungry all the time and is easily exhaustible. So, obviously, he's not himself at all. ;)

We wised up and covered the couch. (Actually it was Daddy's idea and it saved me from cleaning up a HUGE mess about fifteen minutes after I took this photo.)
Li'l Bit thankfully kept her distance. :) She was thankful for the t.v. binge as well.


In other news the sun is shining. Summer is in full swing and we are loving it!
Alas, it is late and my baby daddy just walked in from a long meeting. lata~
